Summer Program

UB SUMMER ACADEMY 

Experience College Life First-Hand! OSU’s Upward Bound Summer Program is an incredible opportunity that gives South Albany High School students a hands-on introduction to college. Both the 4-week non-residential and 2-week residential program is offered at no charge to Upward Bound participants and offers experiences and memories.

4 week Non-Residential Program 

Upward Bound's 4-week summer program offers many exciting and challenging hands-on courses in areas such as:

  • English, Science and Mathematics

  • Foreign Language 

  • Computer Technology

  • College Prep

  • Various Research topics

2-week Residential Program 

Living on campus is an important part of the college experience, and Upward Bounds’s 2-week Residential Program provides free on-campus room and board at Oregon State University.

  • Students stay at one of the freshman residence halls where they can make friends and share their experience with other Upward Bound students.
